Ralph Adams Cram: Ordinariate Pioneer

December 16 was the birthday of Ralph Adams Cram (1863-1942), the noted architect and writer.  It is profoundly fitting that his still-surviving firm, Cram and Ferguson, designed the North American Ordinariate’s Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham. If ever there was an individual from the Anglo-Catholic past who would have leapt into the Ordinariate, it was surely he.
