    • Hello Dale, I thought it was commemorating the 400th anniversary of the destruction of the Shrine, but upon further review it comes from Westminster Cathedral, London. 1534 was the date of the is the date of the Act of Supremacy and the first place to recognise Henry VIII as the head of the Church, shamefully, were the Priors and Canons of Walsingham although a few did not and were martyred- that is what I think was being commemorated.

    Our Parish Church was built with support from our Lady of Walsingham.
    I am excited to come across this special link. During my next Visit to the UK, I will make an effort to visit the place and personally thank the church leadership who might no longer be there this time
